About HOG - energy

HOG is a co-ordinating organ for the petroleum activities in Hordaland and tries to establish contact between decision-makers within the industry, the authorities and companies

The aim of the organisation is to utilise Norwegian oil and gas resources for economic growth in Hordaland. This is achieved by:

- Consumption of natural gas as an environmental and profitable energy source for industrial development and for transportation.

- New field developments that channel activity and profitable contracts in connection with development, production and consumption of the resources at the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

- Favourable terms to ensure further development and growth for businesses in Hordaland, as leading producers and supplyers to the petroleum sector locally, nationally and internationally.
